Our Story

A Little About WaterChef

Water Matters. Make Every Drop Count.

Water is part of everyday life. What we drink, what we cook with, and the water we use to care for ourselves all matter.

For more than 40 years, WaterChef has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing water filtration solutions that bring together thoughtful engineering, meaningful performance, and everyday simplicity.

We believe better water care starts with knowing what's in your water and having confidence in the filtration you choose. That's why we bring decades of experience and independently certified filtration performance to products designed for the way you live.

WaterChef. Better water starts here.

Our Purpose Statement

“We care about people and the quality of their water.”

Our Commitment to Quality

We think that you will agree that the filter cartridge is the heart of any filtration system. Contaminants can either be contained in the cartridge or inadvertently passed through to the water that you use and consume each time you use a filter system. As a discerning consumer, how can you be certain your filter system is working the way it should?

While many of our competitors do not manufacture their own filter cartridges, Water Safety Corporation takes pride in designing and producing WaterChef filter cartridges right here in the United States. This is where an unwavering commitment to precision during the manufacturing process becomes imperative. It is this meticulous attention to detail and adherence to stringent quality standards that set our solid, extruded, carbon block filter cartridges apart as some of the finest worldwide.

In tandem with our stringent quality assurance protocols, WaterChef filtration systems proudly bear NSF/ANSI certifications through IAPMO R&T, an esteemed emblem of consumer trust in our industry. As a testament to our commitment to transparency and excellence, we willingly submit our filtration products to this reputable laboratory for independent, rigorous testing. These evaluations encompass adherence to the most exacting standards (NSF/ANSI Standards) for contaminant reduction efficiency, flow rate, extraction, and structural durability, ensuring our products meet the highest benchmarks for performance and reliability.

IAPMO is valued by consumers, manufacturers, retailers, and regulatory agencies across the globe. TRUST is what independent NSF/ANSI Certification from IAPMO is all about.

This unwavering dedication to quality empowers us to back WaterChef Filtration Systems with some of the most extensive and enduring warranties in our industry. These include a LIFETIME Limited Warranty for all point-of-use drinking water filtration systems and a 3 Year Limited Warranty for our shower filter systems.
